What it takes to teach at Trepa
We do not hire instructors who have only passed the exam. Every person on this page meets all four of these before they are put in front of a class.
They have held the job
Instructors have worked in the discipline they teach, not only studied it. When a student asks how something actually works in a real organization, the answer comes from experience rather than from the courseware.
They hold the certification
Every instructor holds the credential they teach, in good standing. We list the issuing body and the year so you can verify it rather than take our word for it.
They can teach, not just present
Subject knowledge and the ability to transfer it are different skills. Instructors are selected on their record of getting people through exams, not on the length of their résumé.
They understand this audience
Most Trepa students are service members and veterans balancing training against a duty day. Our instructors have been in that position themselves and build their delivery around it.
